Time | 7:30 pm NDT 7:00 pm ADT 6:00 pm EDT 5:00 pm CDT 4:00 pm MDT 3:00 pm PDT |
Type | Online Workshops |
This workshop will provide a space for connection, reflection, support, and understanding for those who have experienced health and/or death loss caused by workplace incidents. In an interactive experience, participants will cultivate mindfulness through breathing practices, visualisation, and artful expressions.
Participants are not required to have any background in art nor do they have to worry about how an art piece may look. In therapeutic arts, our focus is on the process and not the product, which means we are working towards creating a space for emotional exploration without judgement through the use of artistic elements.
Participants will be required to have some basic art materials such as colour pencils, water colours, paper, pencil, pen, and anything else that the participant wants to use. The workshop will include writing prompts, art prompts, guided imagery, and mindfulness practices. The facilitator will hold the space for all participants with presence, attunement , and care.
