Ask a Therapist

What does loss teach us about being alive? Why do grief and change touch every part of who we are? And how can moments of heartbreak also awaken unexpected strength, clarity, or even connection?
In this workshop, licensed therapist Mark Shelvock will explore some of the deeper questions that arise when life is disrupted; questions about meaning, post-traumatic growth, and the ways people carry love forward. Participants will also have space to bring their own questions in an open conversation.
This session is for anyone who wants to better understand the human experience of loss: not only as something painful, but also as part of how we grow, adapt, and make sense of our lives.
