In short, the speakers have all been fantastic - very
powerful. The audiences have been very quiet and
respectful (you could hear a pin drop) with quite a few
people coming up for a quiet word afterwards with the
speakers.

I want to say thank you
to Sharon. She did a fantastic job delivering her very tragic story and I believe it has had a strong impact on the audience here at Union Gas.
Sharon's very heartfelt and honest message was one of hope and
she clearly has great strength to be delivering her message and sharing
her tragedy. We at Union Gas wish her all the best and feel honored to have had an opportunity to listen to
her speak.

Speaking as part of the Operating Services management
team, I believe that we
share common values with regards to a safe work place. It
is my expectation that all my employees return home at the
end of the day. Their loved ones expect no less. Any tools
I can use to help accomplish this are heaven sent.
When your speakers told their
stories you could hear a pin drop. It's humbling to see
big rough steel workers give a piece of their heart to
someone who has suffered such a loss. Safety owns a place
in our hearts! Your speakers stories need to be told. They
do make a difference!

"The timing was perfect and students were very receptive because approximately half in each group indicated that they already had their first job.
Our grade 8 students really listened intently to Jamie because of his manner and his message. His background as a teacher helped him to connect with the
students".

It reminds me again that my son will soon be joining the
workforce and safety needs to remain paramount.
I now know there is an organization that can help families
who have lost a loved one.
Quite emotional. We dont always stop or think about
tragedy until it hits.
A reminder that accident stats happen to people.
I realize the importance of educating our children in
regards to safe work.
