This weekend calmed my fears. My kids shared with me their

of Life held its first Alberta Family Forum in May 2008 and
its first Nova Scotia Family Forum in
June. The Family Forums offer
families affected by a workplace tragedy the opportunity
to come together to share, network and, ultimately,
heal.
At this special event, spouses, parents, siblings and close
friends gather to learn coping skills for grief, active
listening skills, tips on how the occupational health and
safety system works, self-care, and so much more.
This year through the generosity of our supporters and
proceeds from the annual Steps
for Life fundraising events, we are able to offer four
immediate family members complimentary accommodations,
meals and free registration.
