Community Action Program

Community Action Program
The Community Action Program offers opportunities to raise awareness about injury prevention and accountability of workplace health and safety in communities across Canada.

The goal of the program is to create a cultural shift towards health and safety in workplaces and communities. By working in partnership with each of the jurisdictional compensation boards, Threads of Life demonstrates that collectively, as one voice, change can occur.

The Community Action Program consists of:

the Speakers Bureau
Public Outreach sessions
Grassroots Action that communities and organizations can participate in to raise the awareness of injury prevention such as the Steps for Life - Walking for Victims of Workplace Tragedy (5K event)
